Day 1: Welcome to Canada
Arrival at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), transfer to hotel, check-in and rest. Guided tour of the University of Toronto St. George campus. Welcome dinner in a multicultural restaurant in Baldwin Village.
Day 2: “Mini University Day”
Breakfast at your hotel. “Mini University Day” – students attend mock or real university lectures according to their interests. Meet with U of T Admissions Officer to discuss programs, admission process, and student life. Visit the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) to explore its diverse collections. Group reflection and free time in the area near the hostel.
Day 3: Culture & Sports
Breakfast at your hotel. Shakespeare workshop at Hart House Theatre (Hamlet). Walking tour of Kensington Market, focusing on street art, multicultural history, and food culture. In the evening, a Toronto Maple Leafs game or a U of T Varsity Blues ice hockey game.
Day 4: Indigenous Heritage & Literary Toronto
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto for a cultural workshop on Indigenous history and literature. Visit the Museum of Toronto, focusing on “The 52: Women Who Transformed Toronto” exhibition. In the evening, enjoy ice skating at Nathan Phillips Square and attend the “Cavalcade of Lights” holiday celebration.
Day 5: Nature & Wonder
Breakfast at your hotel. Full Day excursion to Niagara Falls by private transfer. Walks, scenic views, and souvenir shopping. In the evening, attend the Winter Festival of Lights “Sparkling Winter Lights” illumination show.
Day 6: Icons & Farewell
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the CN Tower (EdgeWalk optional for adventurous students). Explore the Distillery District Winter Village and its festive local markets. Farewell dinner in a unique local venue.
Day 7: Departure day
Breakfast at your hotel and check out. If flight schedule allows, quick visit to St. Lawrence Market. Transfer to the airport, time to say bye bye Canada!
