orget the textbook—this is the real world. This eight-day expedition is a powerful fusion of meaningful service and epic safari, challenging you to make a tangible difference in local Tanzanian communities while tracking the Big Five in Africa’s most iconic wildlife havens. Witness breathtaking landscapes, engage in vital civic action, and experience a journey that will redefine your global perspective.

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome to Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and meet your dedicated [it’s] Guides. Transfer directly to Arusha for hotel check-in and dinner at the hotel this evening.

Day 2: Launch of the Community Service Project

After breakfast, travel to your designated Service Project (ideal for CAS requirements) in the Arusha area. [it’s] specializes in identifying meaningful projects (schools, orphanages, etc.) where you can work and meet local people. Spend the entire day actively working, utilizing [it’s]-provided equipment. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Hands-Hands-On Project Implementation

Today marks the second day of your Service Project. Tasks may include refurbishing classrooms, building desks, or engaging in teaching and playing with local children. All necessary materials are pre-arranged and provided by [it’s]. Local craftsmen may be engaged to offer expert supervision. Return to your Arusha hotel for dinner.

Day 4: Cultural Exchange and Formal Farewell

The final day is dedicated to working alongside Tanzanian students: leading games, teaching, and interaction. [it’s] can advise on suitable activities. Conclude the day with a formal handover ceremony. Prepare for strong, emotional farewells. Optional Activity: Visit the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR). Dinner tonight is at a local restaurant in Arusha.

Day 5: Arusha National Park Walking Safari

After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park for your first day of African wildlife viewing. Accompanied by experienced Park Rangers, you will participate in small groups on an intimate Walking Safari. Return to Arusha in the late evening.

Day 7: Early Game Drive & Return to Arusha

Experience an early morning game drive while the animals are most active. Return to the campsite for breakfast. Travel back to Arusha in time for a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay.
