Day 1 – Arrival in Madrid
– Arrival at Madrid Airport, transfer to the hotel and check in.
– Visit Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, home of FC Real Madrid.
– Activities today will depend on arrival time.
– Dinner.
Day 2 – Flamenco lesson & Prado museum
– Learn the passionate Flamenco dance during a two-hour lesson.
– Visit the Prado, Spain’s best Art Museum with a fantastic collection of Old Masters and the best selection of Spanish greats like Goya, Velasquez and El Greco.
– To finish off the day, explore the Retiro Park.
– Dinner.
Day 3 – Reina Sofia Museum & Toledo
– Visit Madrid’s Modern Art Museum; the Museo Reina Sofia.
– Transfer by private bus to Toledo and visit the ancient capital of Spain starting by the Gothic Cathedral.
– Have some free time for souvenir shopping in the pedestrian area of the old town.
– Tapas dinner in Madrid.
Day 4 – Madrid: Austrian & Royal history
– Walk around Plaza Mayor, Madrid’s oldest square and stop by ‘La Chocolateria San Gines’ for some Chocolate and Churros or visit San Miguel’s food market.
– Visit the Palacio Real, the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family, which was built on the site of a 9th-century fortress.
– Enjoy some shopping time at La Puerta del Sol, one of the best known and busiest places in the capital.
– Dinner in town.
Day 5 – Barcelona
– Check out, transfer to Barcelona and check in at our hotel.
– See Gaudi’s most famous and unique buildings: La Pedrera and Casa Batlló along Passeig de Gracia Avenue and the impressive Sagrada Familia Cathedral which is still in construction.
– Tapas dinner and overnight in Barcelona.
Day 6 – Barcelona: el Born & la Barceloneta
– Explore the typical Born area and the Parc de la Ciutadella.
– Visit the Picasso Museum.
– Then, we will go to La Barceloneta, Barcelona’s famous beach, for relaxation, tanning or swimming contests.
– Have some free time in Maremagnum, the famous Barcelona’s shopping mall built near the harbour.
– Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 7 – Barcelona’s gothic quarter
– Visit the Palau Nacional, one of Barcelona’s most interesting museums.
– See some of the highlights of Barcelona: La Rambla and Plaça Catalunya and have some free time for shopping.
– Visit the Boqueria Market which has a very diverse selection of goods. This market is one of the most visited spots of Barcelona, and at the same time a reference of gastronomy and entertainment.
– Explore the Gothic Quarter which has many peaceful squares where you can relax.
– Flamenco dinner and show.
Day 8 – Departure
– Transfer to the international airport for your flight back home.
