Get ready for an incredible 8-day journey into the heart of Berlin and Potsdam! This educational adventure will bring 800 years of German history to life, taking you from the grandeur of Prussian palaces and the tense secrets of the Cold War to the exciting modern architecture and cinematic world of Babelsberg. Prepare to explore, learn, and experience the fascinating, resilient spirit of Germany’s capital city.

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at Berlin Airport and meet your [it’s] guide. Private transfer to your hotel for check-in. Dinner at a restaurant conveniently located near the hotel.

Day 2: Cold War Immersion

Explore the former Soviet sector, covering Cold War battlegrounds and the foundation of Communist East Berlin. Learn about life behind the Iron Curtain, the regime of the DDR, and the surveillance power of the Stasi, the world’s largest spy network. Lunch at Gesundbrunnen-Center. Afternoon visit to Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin’s largest palace, featuring an amazing Baroque garden—a grand echo of Germany’s regal past.

Day 3: Berlin History & Central Sights

Spree river cruises which offers a comprehensive sightseeing loop, providing unique perspective on Berlin’s history and modern architecture. After lunch, tour Berlin’s central monuments: Start with the Reichstag Building, then the national symbol, the Brandenburg Gate. Follow the path of the Berlin Wall through the former Nazi Government Quarter, concluding at Checkpoint Charlie.

Day 4: Historical Excursion

Head just outside the city’s northern limits for a guided visit to this former concentration camp Sachsenhausen, standing today as a solemn reminder of the darkest days in Berlin’s history. Guided Tour of the Olympic Stadium Berlin (Olympiastadion).

Day 5: Potsdam Entertainment & Leisure

Full Day at Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam: Enjoy a day of high-tech cinematic rides, exciting stunt shows, historic film sets, and kid-friendly adventures in this movie-based park. Boat Trip on the surrounding waters. Dinner at the Hard Rock Café.

Day 6: Adventure & Modern Architecture

Visit the on-site BergWerk high ropes course and play Tarzan yourself. Ten obstacle courses for different levels and all age groups are laid out over a total area of 660 m². After lunch, we will have free time near the Sony Centre and adjacent Leipziger Platz. You will discover either LEGOLAND Discovery Centre or the German Spy Museum, where you can explore the history of espionage.

Day 7: Thrills & City Views

Visit a Berlin Market, such as the Hallentrodelmarkt Treptow, an indoor flea market where students can browse and hunt for bargains. 2:30 PM: Berlin Dungeon: Enjoy a theatrical and scary journey through Berlin’s past. Ascend the Television Tower (Fernsehturm) where you can gaze out over the entire city and its tourist attractions. After dinner, enjoy an evening of bowling.

Day 8: Departure

Visit to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and enjoy some last-minute shopping on the famous Kurfürstendamm and at the renowned KaDeWe department store, Berlin’s shopping paradise. Transfer to the airport for your flight.
