Day 1: Welcome to the Land of Smiles

Arrive at Kho Samui International Airport and meet your [it’s] Tour Leader. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Dinner in a local Thai restaurant to enjoy a welcome buffet. Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 2: Gentle Giants & Island Crossing

Early Breakfast at your hotel. Visit to an ethical elephant sanctuary, where you’ll learn about conservation and interact with these magnificent animals in a responsible way. After a traditional Thai lunch at the sanctuary, we will hop on the 2:00 PM ferry to the world-renowned diving hub of Koh Tao. By 5:00 PM, you’ll be checking into Sairee Hut, followed by a group dinner to prep for your first day in the water.

Day 3: Diving or Eco-Sustainability

Group 1: heads to your diving center for orientation and safety briefing. You will learn the basics of scuba diving, practice essential skills, and then… you’re going underwater! Two dives today will introduce you to the incredible marine world of Koh Tao. Groups will be small (maximum 4 students per instructor) to ensure personalized attention and safety. Group 2: Start with a morning yoga session overlooking the ocean – the perfect way to center yourself in paradise. Then visit Plastao, an innovative plastic recycling project where you’ll learn about ocean pollution and create your own souvenir from recycled plastic. This hands-on workshop shows how we can all make a difference.

Day 4: Eco-Sustainability or Diving

The groups swap roles, ensuring everyone experiences both the weightlessness of diving and the importance of sustainability.

Day 5: Becoming an Ocean Guardian

After breakfast, you’ll attend a classroom presentation about coral reef ecosystems and why they’re so important (they’re called the ‘rainforests of the sea’!). Then comes the exciting part – you will actually build coral propagation structures with your own hands. These structures will be deployed by La Bombona’s team to help restore Koh Tao’s reefs. You’re literally helping to rebuild the ocean!

Day 6: The Ultimate Island Adventure

Breakfast at your hotel. We will embark on a snorkeling boat tour around Koh Tao’s most beautiful sites. You will visit the coral restoration sites you have learned yesterday and snorkel in crystal-clear waters. Lunch will be served on the boat. Then we will head to Koh Nangyuan, a stunning island with a famous viewpoint – we will hike up for incredible panoramic views (don’t worry, it’s an easy hike!). As the sun begins to set, we will watch one of Thailand’s legendary sunsets before returning to Sairee Beach for a farewell BBQ dinner on the beach.

Day 7: Departure

Early checkout with packed breakfast for the journey. We will take the ferry back to Koh Samui, arriving at the airport by 9:30 AM with plenty of time for flights. Activities will depend on your departure flight.
