Mozambique amazes the traveler with its coastline, its traditions and its cultures. This enigmatic southeast African country has much to offer: long and dune-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, well-preserved corals and an interesting colonial-style Portuguese background.

Day 1 – Arrival in Maputo

– Meet your iTS Trip Leaders at Maputo Airport before your bus transfer to your hotel and check-in.
– Dinner in town at Shawarma King and bedtime.

Day 2 – CAS Project

– Welcome Ceremony at the orphanage.
– Project: planting trees and vegetables, fencing the new veggie garden, helping with a new water supply system, painting rooms, building cupboards, etc.
– Excursion to a local beach to enjoy the end of the afternoon before dinner in town.

Day 3 – CAS Project

– Continue with your next project in a Primary School in Mafala: painting classrooms, plumbing, vertical garden, etc…
– Guided visit of a Church to know more about the local culture and religion before our dinner in town.

Day 4 – CAS Project

– End your CAS project in Mafala: donation & games with kids.
– Visit Livro Aberto: bring empowerment and enjoyment through literacy to children throughout the country.
Your sponsorship will help to provide disabled people with crutches, wheelchairs, etc.
– Dinner in town

Day 5 – CAS Project

– Munazamma Day: explore the countryside to help the needy people: donate cows and goats to selected families.
– Private East African Drumming Show on the beach.
– Dinner in town.

Day 6 – Day-Cruise to Xefina Island

– Rest and enjoy your day on one of the most beautiful and less visited beaches in the country.
– Dinner in town.

Day 7 – Old Maputo city tour

– Tour of the Old part of the capital city, Maputo.
– Dinner in town.

Day 8 – Shopping & Departure

Activities will depend on departure time.
– Last-minute shopping in a local market in Maputo.
– Bus transfer to Maputo Airport for your flight back home.

Elephants, lions and birds are also enjoyable to observe. Bring along some patience,
