Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Madrid Airport and meet your [it’s] guide. After lunch, visit Plaza Mayor, Madrid’s oldest square, and stop by the San Miguel food market. Then, visit the Palacio Real, the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family, the largest palace in Europe. Transfer to Salamanca (2 hours approx.), check-in, and have dinner your hotel.
Day 2: Salamanca
Breakfast at your hotel. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Spanish lesson at a language institute to build strong foundation and get comfortable with the basics. After lunch, take a guided tour of the city center, including the Plaza Mayor, San Martín’s Church, and the House of Shells. Afterward, cross the Plaza de Anaya to see the Old and New Cathedrals, a magnificent complex of two cathedrals joined together. Dinner near your hotel.
Day 3: Salamanca
Breakfast at your hotel. The morning language course will focus on practical Spanish you can use in real-world situations. After lunch, you’ll attend music and dance lessons, where you’ll learn about the history and traditions of Spanish music. The dance lesson will introduce you to flamenco and teach you a fun Spanish children’s song. Return to your hotel for dinner nearby.
Day 4: Salamanca
Start the day with a Spanish lesson, focusing on practical vocabulary for food, shopping, and conversation. After your lesson, you’ll put your new skills to the test with a visit to the central market. Discover various Spanish delicatessen, interact with local vendors, and choose fresh ingredients for your upcoming cooking class.
Day 4: Salamanca
Accompanied by a local chef, you will learn to cook a variety of Spanish specialties using the ingredients you selected. Afterward, you will get to enjoy the delicious meal you prepared together. Following lunch, you will embark on a thrilling escape game through the historic center of Salamanca. It’s a fun way to explore the city’s beautiful streets and landmarks while solving puzzles as a team.
Day 5: Salamanca
Breakfast at your hotel. The morning will be dedicated to a final, interactive Spanish lesson. The focus will be on celebrating what you’ve learned through fun and engaging activities. After lunch, you’ll travel to the nearby town of Ledesma. Here, you’ll enjoy a scenic kayaking tour along the Río Tormes, offering a perfect way to relax and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. Return to your hotel and dinner nearby.
Day 6: Salamanca
After breakfast, biking tour to discover the best street art around the city. With our guide, we will see various graphs. After lunch, visit of the Universidad de Salamanca (old college buildings, façade, cloister, old classrooms. etc.) Later enjoy some free time for shopping or simply exploring the city at your own pace. The day concludes with a group meal, giving you a chance to reflect on your adventures and enjoy more Spanish cuisine.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast and depending on your departure time, you’ll have some last-minute shopping in Salamanca. Transfer to Madrid Airport and return flight.
